Dana Mesler
Uniquely qualified and well-experienced business executive leader in the manufacturing industry, Dana Mesler possesses a wide range of strengths including Financial/Accounting, Cost Controls, Operations, Global Supply Chain, Supplier Negotiations & Relations, and Strategic Planning.
With over 30 years’ experience in various key senior leadership roles with a globally-significant $27B automotive/HVAC manufacturing corporation, Dana is versatile and adept at developing and providing cost improvement and risk mitigation solutions.
Throughout his manufacturing career, Dana has been called upon to fill positions with progressively ever greater responsibilities, from a Financial Plant Analyst, to Plant Comptroller, to Manufacturing Manager overseeing $53M in annual production, to the Project Manager overseeing the Mergers & Acquisitions Group.
Dana has led cross-functional teams, recognized as the only division that functioned autonomously during the challenging 2008-2009 economic decline, resulting in the successful protection of uninterrupted supply chain flow of automotive parts to ensure maximization of production and profits when other similar manufacturers were struggling.
Based on his history of results and success, Dana took over a 2-year $30M new business venture, an offshoot of the automotive HVAC line, as the Manufacturing & Business Manager, overseeing the business aspects of the production of residential and commercial heat exchangers, including conducting extensive global travel to the Middle East and Asia-Pacific regions. While there, he forged strategic manufacturing partnerships, revitalizing the venture’s value, and increasing revenue by $70M in just 3 years.
Dana has a passion to drive multifunctional business improvements that serve to benefit all stakeholders. Applying lessons learned over 30 years with a globally significant manufacturer, and by leveraging skill sets required in extensive complex problem solving, Dana has consistently added value for all stakeholders.
