John Hogg
As President, John established Straight Forward Consulting in 2008 and continues to work side by side with senior leadership and front-line workers. His hands on approach has led to successful engagements with clients such as Thermo Fisher Scientific, Delaware North, Praxair, Moog, Multisorb Technologies, Cliffstar, and the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. Clients vary in size from less than $10 million, to over $42 billion in annual sales with successful engagements with diverse industries (Consumer Goods, Aerospace and Defense, Advanced Manufacturing / Industrial, Automotive, Healthcare, Government Entities, Life Sciences, Precious Metals, and Apparel) verticals.
John has 33 years of experience across all areas of the supply chain, including demand planning, supply planning & materials management, lean manufacturing, and logistics. He also has extensive experience in Sales and Operations Planning, business process redesign, and ERP & MRP system implementation and development. Client highlights include:

Prior to founding Straight Forward, John spent 20 years at Rich Products Corp, a $3B food manufacturer in Buffalo NY, where he held leadership positions across all areas of the supply chain.
John taught Supply Chain at the graduate and undergraduate level at Niagara University. He served 7 years on the Leadership Board for the Supply Chain Council, for which he chaired the national Supply Chain World conference in 2013; the Buffalo chapter of the Council for Supply Chain Management Professionals, including Chair, for 5 years; and is a frequent speaker and national and regional events.
John has a BA and an MBA from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY. In addition, John is a Certified Lean Sensei; a Certified Lean Professional; a Certified Business Process Master through Michael Hammer and Associates, and has obtained Certification in Production and Inventory Management through the American Production and Inventory Control Society (APICS).
